CRISTINA RIVEROLL
Regional Director of Operations

Passionate and creative, Cristina is driven by challenges and opportunities, and feels she's at her best when she can work with the freedom to create solutions within a loosely defined set of guidelines. Adaptable to change, she balances striving for perfection with understanding human limitations when troubleshooting opportunities at new hotels. Cristina is competitive and results-driven, but also likes to build teams by providing consistent direction and a clear vision while demonstrating an integrity her team can always count on.

A Six Sigma Green Belt, Cristina is also disciplined and dedicated. She is a yoga fanatic who incorporates difficult routines into her everyday life, whether she's at home or on the road. Evolution Hospitality's unique culture and focus on wellness were two reasons Cristina was attracted to the company; the opportunity for growth was one more. She likes to travel, particularly when she can connect in nature at the same time, and enjoys good wine and dark chocolate.

Cristina's Six Sigma training makes her a big fan of the Guiding Principle "Make it better than it was before." According to Cristina, "Although Six Sigma Projects mainly apply to product, processes and services and not people, I believe that by improving these areas and under the right situational leadership all other principles will fall into place."

Cristina believes life is too short and too precious not to enjoy, and fully supports "It's not how we work, it's how we live.™" In her opinion, keeping a balanced work/play approach is crucial to positive mental health; it allows us to recharge and improve our results. According to Cristina: "It's absolutely necessary to keep our attention focused on our goals, but at the same time not miss out on all the great experiences going on around us right now. After all, when you we get to our destination, we will realize that some of the greatest lessons and values gained were found in the trip there."
