DAVID KREIZINGER a.k.a. "DK"
David was born and raised in the Coachella Valley, specifically Indio, California. He grew up to love all and anything outdoors, including hiking, fishing, golfing, off-roading, and working on cars. He developed a love and passion for the ocean at an early age, and fishing, playing in the surf and surfing are all things he still loves to do today. Drawing from his rural California desert roots, David is a champion of hard work and individual responsibility. With a head for business and a heart for the outdoors and physical activity, he is equally at home in the office or on the trail.
The son of an accountant turned software engineer, David developed a love of both business and computers at an early age, watching the birth of an industry as computers moved from mainframe giants operated primarily by governments to the indispensible business tools they are today. A collaborative leader, he knows results are achieved by recognizing the team is greater than the individual, and that serving the team and leading by example are the best ways to excel. David’s business philosophy is rooted in his heart for service, as he believes all work is “service-related,” and clients and vendors, as well as our colleagues at every level should be treated as valued customers.
Married for over 22 years to Mieke, his college sweetheart, the longtime Orange County residents have a daughter attending UC San Diego and a son who attends middle school in Irvine. David likes to spend his free time with his family, participating in youth sports with his son, dining out, cooking, barbequing, and working around the house. He has many interests, and when there’s time, he loves listening to a wide variety of music and following current events. An agent for change, David also embraces anything that can “make it better than it was before” and is energized by innovation; he enjoys collecting tech gadgets of all sorts, including Google Glass and ham radios.
David’s favorite Guiding Principal is “Do everything with gratitude and humility” because he believes that as we all pass through this life, we arrive and depart on equal footing and that we never truly possess anything. Rather we are stewards of the resources entrusted to us, to invest and pass on when they can no longer serve us. He also believes that life’s opportunities and achievements, just like life’s trials, are simply moments offered which allow us to develop and grow, for which we should always be grateful.
